ChartEdge AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the chartedge.app website and service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. The Service is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13.

We collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:

• Account information. When you register, we collect your name and email address so we can create and manage your account.
• Uploaded chart images. Images you upload to the Service for analysis are stored and processed to provide the chart analysis feature.
• Saved analyses, journal entries, and tool inputs. The AI-generated trade plans, position sizing calculations, and any notes you save within the Service are stored and associated with your account.
• Device and usage data. We collect basic log data such as IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used for security, abuse prevention, and to keep the Service running reliably.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide the chart analysis feature.
• Store your analyses, uploaded charts, and journal entries so you can access them later.
• Send authentication and account-related emails (e.g., email confirmation, password reset).
• Secure the Service and detect or prevent abuse and fraud.
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use third-party service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, email delivery, analytics, security, and AI-assisted features. These providers process data on our behalf and only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own independent purposes.

In particular, chart images you upload are processed by an AI service provider to generate analysis results. By using the Service, you acknowledge that uploaded image data is transmitted to and processed by that provider as part of the analysis feature.

The Service is designed for trading chart images only. When uploading images, please follow these guidelines:

• Only upload chart screenshots that are relevant to the trading analysis feature.
• Do not upload images containing personal, medical, identity, or other sensitive information unrelated to chart analysis.
• We reserve the right to reject or remove uploads that appear to contain content unrelated to trading charts or that violate our Terms of Service.

Uploaded chart images and analysis history are stored while your account remains active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page inside the app. Deletion removes your chart images, analyses, journal entries, and account credentials. A limited set of billing, transaction, and account records may be retained after deletion for as long as reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax compliance, or other legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We share data with third-party service providers that are necessary to operate the Service, under appropriate data processing arrangements.
• Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ChartEdge AI, our users, or the public.
• Business transfer. If ChartEdge AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users before their information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
